Aelterman is proud to be working on the impressive ‘Narrow Water Bridge’ project, which will connect Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland! 🌉
We are responsible for the production, transportation and assembly of two bridges: a fixed cable-stayed bridge and a movable bascule bridge. 🛠️
🔹 Overall length: 195.15 metres
🔹 Fixed bridge: 138.35 metres | Movable bridge: 56.8 metres
🔹 Pylon height: 113 metres
🔹 Weight of fixed bridge: 2,255 tonnes of steel | Movable bridge: up to 1,900 tonnes
Production will start in 2025, with completion scheduled for 2027. We look forward to realising this impressive project! 🌍
